Heart on a String - Ultra-Durable Rubber Chew Toy, Tug Toy & Reward Ball for Large Dogs

The Heart on a String is a USA-made, ultra-durable rubber chew toy and multi-purpose training tool designed specifically for large dogs (30-65 lbs) who are power chewers, super chewers, and working dogs. This heart-shaped reward ball with attached rope combines romantic charm with serious functionality, creating an engaging toy perfect for chewing, tugging, retrieving, and reward-based training. Ideal for Valentine's Day, anniversaries, or year-round enrichment.

What Makes the Heart on a String Special?

Unlike ordinary dog toys, the Heart on a String serves four distinct purposes: it's an ultra-durable chew toy for aggressive chewers, a tug toy with built-in handle for interactive play, a retrieving toy for fetch games, and a reward ball for training working dogs and high-drive dogs. The attached rope provides excellent grip for handlers during tug-of-war games and makes it easy to throw for retrieving exercises, while the heart shape adds festive charm for Valentine's Day and romantic occasions.

Key Benefits & Features

Built for Heavy Chewers: Crafted from FDA-compliant, non-toxic natural rubber that withstands even the strongest jaws. This isn't a toy that will be destroyed in minutes—it's engineered specifically for large dogs, power chewers, super chewers, and heavy chewers who need ultra-durable dog toys that last through months of daily chewing and play.

Multi-Purpose Training Tool: The Heart on a String serves as a chew toy for solo enrichment, tug toy for interactive play with the built-in string handle, retrieving toy for fetch games, and reward ball for training sessions. This versatility makes it essential for working dog handlers, K9 trainers, and owners of high-drive dogs.

Built-In Rope Handle: The attached rope provides excellent grip for handlers during tug-of-war games, makes throwing easier for retrieving exercises, and allows you to control the toy during reward play. The durable string won't tear or separate from the heart during vigorous tugging.

Perfect for Tug-of-War: The string handle makes this an ideal tug toy for interactive play between handler and dog. The natural rubber construction won't tear during vigorous tugging, making it perfect for bite work training, reward play, and building drive in working dogs.

Retrieving & Fetch Games: The heart shape with attached string makes it easy to throw for fetch games and retrieving exercises. The substantial weight (6 oz) provides good throwing distance, while the durable construction ensures it won't break apart during intense play.

Festive Heart Design: Featuring a classic heart shape in vibrant red, this toy is perfect for Valentine's Day, anniversaries, and showing your dog some love year-round. The romantic design makes it an excellent gift for dog owners who want festive, functional toys.

Sustainable & Eco-Friendly: Made from sustainable, eco-friendly natural rubber that's better for the environment. This durable rubber toy is built to last, reducing waste from destroyed toys and providing long-term value for owners of heavy chewers.

Perfect for Valentine's Day & Year-Round Love

The Heart on a String makes an excellent Valentine's Day gift for dog owners and their beloved pets. The festive red heart design brings romantic charm to playtime, while the durable, USA-made construction ensures it will be enjoyed long after Valentine's Day has passed. It's a gift that shows you care about both the dog's enrichment needs and the owner's desire for quality, long-lasting toys. Many owners also use it year-round as a symbol of the love they have for their dogs.

Why Working Dog Handlers Love the String Handle

The built-in string handle makes the Heart on a String especially popular with working dog handlers, K9 trainers, and owners of high-drive dogs. The string provides excellent control during tug games, makes it easy to throw for retrieving exercises, and allows handlers to present the toy as a reward without putting hands near the dog's mouth. This design feature makes it safer and more functional than standard ball-shaped reward toys.

Why Large Dogs Love the Heart Shape

The heart silhouette triggers curiosity and engagement in dogs. The rounded shape with pointed bottom creates interesting bouncing patterns that activate your dog's natural prey drive and chase instincts. The textured rubber surface provides satisfying grip for chewing and carrying, while the attached string adds an extra element of interest during play.
