Vampire Bat Nylon Dog Chew Toy for Aggressive Chewers | USA Made & FDA Compliant

Vampire Bat eChew — Nylon Chew Toy with Built-In Lick Mat Surface for Medium to Large Dogs

The SodaPup Vampire Bat eChew is unlike a typical nylon chew toy — its wing surface pattern is intentionally designed as a lick mat, so it functions as both a very durable chew toy and a licking enrichment toy in one. Smear peanut butter, yogurt, wet food, or any soft food across the textured bat wings and let your medium or large dog lick and chew their way through it. While no dog toy is indestructible, SodaPup nylon toys are very durable and built to outlast rubber and plush alternatives — always supervise your dog during use.

Key Features

• Built-in lick mat surface — the standout feature: The bat’s textured wing surface is specifically designed to hold soft foods like peanut butter, yogurt, wet food, and cream cheese — functioning as a durable nylon lick mat that won’t tear, crack, or get destroyed the way silicone or rubber lick mats can
• 2-in-1 chew toy and lick mat: Most nylon toys are chew-only; the Vampire Bat eChew delivers both chewing satisfaction and licking enrichment in a single durable toy
• Very durable nylon construction: Built to outlast rubber, plush, and standard nylon toys — no dog toy is indestructible, so always supervise chew sessions and replace when significantly worn
• Available in Medium and Large: Medium (3.5 oz) for smaller medium dogs; Large (5.0 oz) for medium to large breeds — both designed for dogs who are power chewers
• Vampire bat wing design: Wide, flat wings provide an expansive lick mat surface area, while the body and wing edges offer multiple grip points and chewing surfaces
• Promotes dental health: Chewing and licking across the textured surface helps clean teeth and massage gums
• FDA-compliant and safe: Non-toxic, food-safe nylon — safe for direct contact with the foods you spread on it
• Classic black color: Spooky appearance perfect for Halloween or year-round play

How to Use the Vampire Bat eChew

As a lick mat: Spread peanut butter, plain yogurt, wet food, cream cheese, pureed pumpkin, or any dog-safe soft food across the textured bat wing surfaces. Your dog will work to lick every bit from the grooves and crevices — just like a traditional lick mat, but built from durable nylon that holds up to dogs who chew as well as lick. The wide, flat wings give you plenty of surface area to spread treats across. For a longer-lasting session, spread and freeze for 2–4 hours before giving to your dog.

As a chew toy: Give directly to your medium or large dog for sustained gnawing. The wing shape provides multiple grip points and edges, and the nylon surface offers satisfying chewing resistance. Always supervise and replace if the toy becomes significantly worn.

Combined: The Vampire Bat eChew is at its best when your dog chews the wing edges while licking the spread from the surface — delivering physical chewing satisfaction and the calming mental engagement of licking enrichment at the same time.

Why a Nylon Lick Mat Surface Is a Game-Changer

Traditional lick mats are made from silicone or rubber — great for licking, but easily destroyed by dogs who chew. The Vampire Bat eChew solves that problem by combining a lick mat surface texture with durable nylon construction. The bat’s wide wings actually give it more lick mat surface area than many round or compact nylon toys — making it one of the most enrichment-capable shapes in the SodaPup nylon lineup.

Enrichment Benefits

• Mental stimulation: Licking across the textured wing surface engages foraging instincts and reduces boredom
• Separation anxiety: Spread and freeze before you leave — gives anxious dogs a focused, calming activity during alone time
• Slow feeding: Spread a meal’s worth of wet food across the wings to slow consumption and support healthy digestion
• Cooperative care: Use as a distraction during grooming, nail trims, or vet visits
• Redirects destructive chewing: Gives medium and large dogs an appropriate, satisfying outlet for their natural chewing instincts

Nylon Material & Care

Sodapup nylon is very durable, but no dog toy is indestructible. The nylon is hard but designed to be softer than a dog's teeth, giving way before dental damage. Roughening and wearing down with chewing are normal wear and tear. Always supervise use, inspect the nylon before and after each session, and replace it when damaged or excessively worn. For mixed-material sets, this material and wear guidance applies only to the nylon components; follow each item's specific use and safety instructions.
