Why lick mats work for dogs:

Sustained licking triggers the release of endorphins and serotonin, producing a natural calming effect. Lick mats are used by veterinarians and certified dog trainers to reduce separation anxiety, ease grooming stress, slow fast eaters, and provide mental enrichment for high-energy dogs.

The SodaPup Heart Love eMat celebrates the unconditional love between you and your dog with a charming heart-covered surface that doubles as an effective enrichment tool. The heart-pattern texture holds spreads and wet food beautifully, encouraging the slow, sustained licking that produces the endorphin response dogs need for calm behavior. Available in large and small sizes in red, the Love eMat is a popular enrichment gift for new dog owners and a meaningful everyday enrichment tool. Made in the USA from non-toxic, FDA-compliant TPE — dishwasher safe and freezer safe.
